Position Summary
The Regional Property Officer will report to the Regional Office Operations Director and the ATI Head Office Logistics Director. Responsibilities include:
- Handling regional property/asset management
- Managing day-to-day warehouse operations
- Tracking and reporting region-based property through ERP and IFMIS
Essential Duties
- Track and record all regional property and asset management transactions using ERP and IFMIS.
- Ensure warehouse policies are in place and oversee their application.
- Receive and issue goods as per the ATI warehousing policy.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper accounting of stored items.
- Receive purchased goods, record, and store them appropriately.
- Prepare goods receiving notes and store materials in designated places.
- Issue goods against authorized requisitions and track the process.
- Prepare reports for wrong deliveries, damaged goods, or shortages.
- Arrange for quality inspections of received goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure postings are up to date.
- Prepare and submit warehouse reports to the Operations Director.
- Organize annual inventory and submit reports to the logistics team.
- Adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands.
- Coordinate property handling of office equipment and fixed assets.
- Exhibit ethical behavior towards customers in service provision.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, Accounting, or a relevant field.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2 years with a master’s degree.
- Knowledge of government property administration practices.
- Proficiency in English and Amharic; knowledge of an additional language is an asset.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with diverse staff.
