Job Summary
The Quality Officer is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and services comply with established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal company policies. The role involves monitoring quality systems, conducting inspections, analyzing results, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high operational standards.
Qualification
- MSc or BSc Degree in Food Science, Applied Nutrition, Biology, Public Health, or related fields.
Experience
- MSc Degree Holders: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in quality control, food safety, laboratory analysis, or related fields.
- BSc Degree Holders: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in quality assurance, inspection, production quality monitoring, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
- Monitor production processes and identify quality issues.
- Perform tests, audits, and inspections on raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports.
- Support implementation of quality management systems (QMS).
- Investigate non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve quality performance.
