Revenue Manager

Job Summary

The Revenue Manager is a strategic leader responsible for maximizing the company’s total revenue and profitability. By using data-driven analysis and market trends, the role determines the best pricing strategies and distribution tactics to ensure the company sells the right product to the right customer at the right time while supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director to set realistic annual revenue targets and departmental goals.
• Ensure the Property Management System (PMS) or sales software aligns accurately with the accounting software.
• Adjust pricing strategies to maximize profit during peak demand and cover fixed costs during low periods.
• Issue daily revenue reports summarizing the previous day's performance, including total sales and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct market share analysis and report company performance against competitors.
• Assist the finance team during month-end closing by ensuring all pending revenue is accounted for and accurately categorized.
• Monitor booking patterns, cancellations, and customer demand trends to improve pricing decisions.
• Support management with recommendations on promotional campaigns and revenue growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare management reports as required.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Skills & Competencies:

• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong analytical and forecasting ability.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of revenue management systems and reporting tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions.
