Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience to design our sales strategy and lead our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Ethiopian telecom market and a proven track record of meeting high revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our customer base and achieve strong market presence in Addis Ababa.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and monitor the performance of sales representatives; set individual sales targets and ensure they are met.
- Business Development: Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Client Management: Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their unique connectivity needs.
- Reporting: Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Negotiation: Handle high-level contract negotiations with corporate clients and key partners.
Qualifications
- Education: MA or BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of successful sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management/leadership role (Telecom/ISP industry experience is highly preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Amharic and English.
