Sales Manager Employment Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience to design our sales strategy and lead our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Ethiopian telecom market and a proven track record of meeting high revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our customer base and achieve strong market presence in Addis Ababa.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and monitor the performance of sales representatives; set individual sales targets and ensure they are met.
• Business Development: Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
• Client Management: Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their unique connectivity needs.
• Reporting: Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Negotiation: Handle high-level contract negotiations with corporate clients and key partners.

Qualifications

• Education: MA or BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of successful sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management/leadership role (Telecom/ISP industry experience is highly preferred).
• Skills: Strong leadership abilities, excellent negotiation skills, and proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
• Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Amharic and English.
