Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transportation services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups, meetings, and presentations.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored logistics solutions (import, export, bonded facility, warehousing, etc.).
- Prepare and submit competitive quotations and proposals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential customers.
- Coordinate with operations and finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage digital marketing campaigns (social media, email, online platforms) to promote services.
- Prepare regular sales reports and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in sales/marketing (preferably in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding).
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance, freight forwarding, and transport operations in Ethiopia/Djibouti.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, CRM tools, digital marketing platforms).
- Fluency in English and Amharic (written & spoken).
