Job Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets to support business growth. This role is essential in driving our business-to-business sales strategy and ensuring effective market reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers on your route, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Promote and sell products to customers, identifying their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Take customer orders, process them accurately, and ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor stock levels at customer locations, manage inventory, and ensure product availability and visibility on shelves.
- Plan and execute daily routes efficiently to maximize productivity and meet sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels; provide regular reports to management.
- Gather feedback from customers and market insights to improve product offerings and services.
- Provide product demonstrations and presentations to clients, highlighting product benefits.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking and market research.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align promotional efforts and campaigns with sales strategies.
- Monitor market and sales trends, as well as competitor activities, to adapt the sales approach.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- College degree, preferably in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management.
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in B2B sales within a similar industry.
- Valid driving license Grade: DEREK 1 / Public 1.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel and spend 80%-90% of available time within the assigned route area.
