Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scrub Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, compassionate, and have a strong commitment to the field of healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures by scrubbing in and handling instruments and supplies
- Maintains a sterile field by following established protocols
- Communicates with the surgical team to ensure the smooth flow of the procedure
- Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and provides instruments and supplies accordingly
- Assists with counting, checking all instruments are ready before and after the procedure
- Prepares and maintains the operating room by setting up equipment and supplies
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments following established procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions
- The working condition will be office hours or shift as the hospital needs.
Qualification
- BSC/Diploma from an approved nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) from the country of origin.
- Certificate on BLS and ACLS training.
- Profound knowledge in defibrillator utilization.
- Knowledge in Infusion Pump utilization and calculation.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the operating room is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Have good communication skills.
- Have some computer skills.
- Know the nursing profession.
- Have good observation skills.
- Language: Fluent in English (oral & written).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours
