Sr. Accounting And Finance Lead

Job Summary

Fayda Tech Solutions PLC is seeking a senior Accounting & Finance Lead to manage our comprehensive financial operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing accounting, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting while providing strategic advice to management and supporting ERP implementations. We are looking for a professional with strong ownership and the ability to work independently to ensure regulatory compliance and financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Operations: Manage invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and cash flow activities.
• Payroll & Tax: Handle end-to-end payroll processing and ensure compliance with VAT, withholding tax, and income tax obligations.
• Audit & Compliance: Lead audit preparations and coordinate with tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
• ERP Support: Act as a finance advisor during ERP implementations (Odoo or similar), managing chart of accounts, tax configuration, and UAT.
• Strategic Advisory: Advise management on financial controls, cash flow planning, and compliance risks.

Qualification

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Technical Skills: Proven ability to manage end-to-end company accounting and experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and payroll processes.
• Attributes: High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
