Job Purpose
To lead and oversee the company’s vehicle and asset insurance portfolio at a corporate level by ensuring optimal coverage, effective risk transfer strategies, efficient claims management, and alignment with organizational risk management objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and analyze insurance coverage for departments and responsible personnel
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate coverage levels
- Review insurance claims and ensure timely processing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers
- Provide expert advice on insurance strategies and risk management
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify improvement areas
- Monitor insurance market changes and competitor practices
- Assist in training and supervising junior insurance staff
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and presentations
- Coordinate and maintain all insurance-related documentation
- Receive and register insurance claims from departments
- Support site visits, inspections, and claims-related fieldwork
- Develop and implement corporate insurance strategies for vehicle and fleet assets
- Oversee the full insurance portfolio, ensuring adequate and cost-effective coverage
- Lead annual insurance renewal planning and policy structuring
- Ensure all company vehicles and assets are properly insured across all units
- Standardize insurance processes and company-wide guidelines
- Oversee major and complex insurance claims
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Lead negotiations with insurers to secure competitive premiums
- Prepare executive-level reports and provide strategic insights
- Manage relationships with insurance companies and internal stakeholders
About You
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 6–8+ years of experience in insurance, preferably in vehicle or fleet insurance within a corporate environment.
- Required Skills: Strong expertise in insurance and claims management, strategic thinking, analytical skills, negotiation and stakeholder management, strong reporting and data analysis capability, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Key Competencies: Leadership and decision-making, strong risk management mindset, excellent communication skills, accountability, integrity, and ability to work in a high-responsibility corporate environment.
