Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Purchase Officer located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Senior Purchase Officer will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing processes, managing purchase orders and requisitions, and engaging in contract negotiation with vendors. Other responsibilities include analyzing market trends, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Qualifications
- BA degree in Procurement, and other related fields
- 3 Years Experience with Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Requisitions
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation
- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Fluency in English
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage vendor relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the manufacturing or trading industry is a plus
