Responsibilities

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Develop digital products – You will be required to develop products that are mobile, APIs, and microservice driven.
• DevOps – You will be required to develop and support various products. Knowledge of DevOps tooling is a must: git, docker container, Jenkins, Kubernetes.
• Create new ideas – Demonstrate them in code. Code quality and understanding of the product are essential.
• Work with product managers – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of a product.
• Ensure delivery timelines – Ensure all projects are delivered on agreed timelines.
• Utilize agile and scrum frameworks – Make use of tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Develop microservices – Use sprint, sprint security, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Be hands-on – Deliver the highest quality and fix issues in both development and production.
• Innovate – Be open-minded to working with new technologies.

Planning

• Develop a deep understanding of Hybrid integration, iPaaS, and Cloud solutions.
• Capacity planning – Modernize core enterprise platforms to ensure we operate below 70% and on N-1 Version.

Qualifications

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in coding in a non-university setting.
• Experience in Java – Spring Boot, Spring, Spring MVC, JEE, MAVEN, Spring Cloud. Other programming languages such as C# and Golang will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, and message queues.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture – Ability to design, develop, and implement scalable, elastic microservice-based platforms.
