Tender Officer / Procurement Specialist

About the Role

Gas Pro is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Officer / Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full tendering process, ensuring compliance with requirements, and supporting procurement operations across government and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit tender documents in compliance with client requirements.
• Manage the full tender lifecycle, including documentation, submission, and follow-up.
• Independently review tender requirements and ensure accurate and timely completion.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and pricing analyses.
• Maintain organized tender files and track deadlines and outcomes.
• Coordinate internally with relevant departments to gather required information.
• Conduct online research and manage e-procurement platform submissions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1+ year of hands-on experience in tender preparation, submission, and follow-up (government and private sectors).
• Familiarity with Electronic Government Procurement (EGP) systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, supply chain, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, email communication, online research, and e-procurement tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good negotiation and coordination abilities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
