Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Web Designer located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Web Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and user-friendly website designs that align with project requirements. The role includes designing graphics, developing responsive web interfaces, and collaborating with developers and other team members to enhance user experiences. The Web Designer will also contribute to improving the overall aesthetic and functionality of client websites.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Web Design, Responsive Web Design, and creating user-friendly interfaces
• Experience in Graphic Design and creating visual content using graphics tools
• Knowledge and skills in Front-End Development, including understanding of modern web technologies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to develop innovative design solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team
• Expertise in: Figma, Photoshop (for prototyping), React.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript
• Responsive layouts, accessibility, performance optimization
• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and relevant design software is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is an added advantage
