Industrial Engineering Manager

Job Purpose

The Senior Industrial Engineer is responsible for improving productivity, efficiency, and operational performance across garment manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on hands-on factory floor activities, including work study, line balancing, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies and establish accurate SMVs
• Perform line balancing to improve efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks
• Monitor daily production efficiency and support target achievement
• Conduct capacity planning and manpower allocation
• Lead productivity and process improvement initiatives (Lean / Kaizen)
• Support new style introduction and layout preparation
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to reduce rework and losses
• Train and guide junior IE staff and production teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Textile/Apparel Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in garment/apparel manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience on sewing production floors is required.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, factory-based position requiring regular presence on the production floor.
• May require extended working hours during peak production periods.
