Junior IT Support Officer

The Junior IT Support Officer is responsible for providing technical support to ensure smooth operations of our payment systems, POS infrastructure, and internal IT services. This role includes:

• Providing first-level technical support for internal staff and customers using POS systems and payment gateways.
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues related to POS terminals, payment processing systems, and network configurations.
• Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including POS devices, payment gateways, and related software.
• Monitoring and maintaining system performance, ensuring minimal downtime for payment systems and internal IT infrastructure.
• Ensuring compliance with security protocols and assisting in network security management.
• Assisting in system upgrades, software updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Documenting technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures for future reference.
• Collaborating with senior IT staff to assist with troubleshooting and technical projects.

Qualification/Experience

Education:

• BSc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
