Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team in Addis Ababa. This role will be responsible for overseeing our network infrastructure, ensuring security and reliability, and providing support across all network-related operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain company networks and infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and optimize network systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure the security and integrity of network systems.
- Support IT infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational needs.
- Document network configurations, updates, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network and infrastructure management.
- Proven experience in:
- Network administration and troubleshooting
- Network design and implementation
- Network security best practices
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar) are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in multicultural or diverse environments is preferred.
