Process Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Process Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support to production and collaborate with QA/QC teams to drive continuous process improvement and industrialization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technical drawings and associated documentation, ensuring their accuracy and alignment with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Optimizes and improves the efficiency of an organization’s manufacturing and industrial processes.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of production lines, develop new techniques, modify existing designs, and coordinate process improvement projects.
• Identify correctives action to be implemented to improve process yield, throughput, and cost.
• Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production
• Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes.
• Generate and update work instructions for production processes as required.
• Support production to analyze weekly production KPI.
• Support R&D for trials, industrialization, process identification and implementation.
• Support production to qualify machine / process (define test, prepare raw material, analyze results, release machine into production etc.).
• Analyze technical drawings, propose modifications/ improvements, and approve the designs.
• Support team to implement documentations for production process and QC/QA.
• Follow up the respect to documentation/ procedures in the production floor.
• Provides detailed instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
• Conducts risk assessments and reports to upper management on time.

ABOUT YOU

• Engineer from one of the following specialties:
  • Industrial process
  • Electrical/electronic/automatism
  • Mechanical
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
• All applicants must possess the necessary rights, valid travel documents, and health certifications to work in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, East Africa.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
