Notice
For Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor positions:
- PhD degree is mandatory
- Associate Professor: 4 years of teaching and research experience after holding a PhD degree& Recent publication is required.
- Professor: 4 years of teaching and research experience as an Associate Professor with recent publication.
Salary
- Salary is as per the government salary scale with additional benefits as per Higher Educational Institution.
Research Alignment
- As research is a priority at AASTU, the research activities of candidates should align with the Center of Excellences (CoEs). Applicants with aligned profession or research thematic areas will be given priority.
Priority Considerations
In cases where lower and higher ranks compute for one position, priority shall be given to the candidate with the higher rank:
- For example, Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor, priority shall be given to the candidate with the higher rank, in this case, the Professor.
- For Chief Technical Assistant I, Senior Technical Assistant, and Technical Assistant, priority shall be given to the candidate with the higher rank, in this case, the Chief Technical Assistant I.
