About the job
Orbit Health is seeking a researcher to support a short-term data collection and analysis project across three key sites: Debre Birhan, Sheger, and Dukem. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in gathering and interpreting clinical and public health data that will inform future health system interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field-level data collection from health facilities and community sources
- Ensure data quality through validation and regular review
- Perform data analysis and generate summary reports
- Collaborate with the Orbit Health team to ensure timely delivery of findings
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree required
- Master’s in Public Health (MPH) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data collection, analysis, or related research roles
- Willingness to travel and work in field locations
- Strong data analysis, communication, and organizational skills
