Ethiopian Airlines Group would like to invite qualified applicants for the Trainee Cook position.
POSITION: TRAINEE COOK
REQUIREMENT:
- A Minimum of level III certificate in food preparation/kitchen operation/foreign Dish Cooking/Ethiopian Cultural Food Preparation or any related field of study from a recognized TVET/College/Institute. Or
- A Minimum of level II certificate in food preparation/kitchen operation/foreign Dish Cooking/Ethiopian Cultural Food Preparation or any related field of study from a recognized TVET/College/Institute with one year of related experience in ET/other known organization.
NB: COC Certificate is mandatory
- Age limit: 18-35 years old
Skills Needed
- Culinary Preparation & Cooking – Skilled in Ethiopian cultural dishes, foreign cuisine, and kitchen operations.
- Food Safety & Hygiene – Knowledge of proper kitchen sanitation, handling, and food safety standards.
- Certification & Technical Skills – Holding Level II or III food preparation/kitchen operation certificates with COC certification.
- Teamwork & Discipline – Ability to work in a structured environment with strong discipline and adaptability.
