About the Role
We, NatNet Integration and Trade of Technology Plc, are seeking a skilled and hands-on Audiovisual Systems Specialist to support the installation, configuration, and commissioning of advanced audiovisual systems for our projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the main engineering team, bringing technical expertise in:
- System setup
- Hardware integration
- CAD drawing interpretation
- Documentation
- On-site troubleshooting
This role requires both practical field skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead engineers during the installation and configuration of professional audio and AV systems.
- Interpret and apply CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics for accurate installations.
- Identify optimal equipment placement to achieve superior sound distribution and system performance.
- Conduct functional testing, calibration, and troubleshooting to meet performance standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project execution.
- Document installation procedures, equipment configurations, and technical issues for project records.
- Verify system compatibility with site-specific requirements and constraints.
Qualifications
- Degree in Sound Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven hands-on experience in AV system installation, integration, and testing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings, schematics, and technical layouts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for AV/sound hardware and configurations.
- Experience in technical reporting and project documentation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with precision in following engineering plans.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time on-site in Addis Ababa.
- Prior experience in construction or infrastructure-related AV projects is a strong advantage.
