We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join our esteemed international school, delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of business principles and economic theories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics to students across e.g., IGCSE and A-Level.
- Design and implement curriculum activities that meet Cambridge International standards and learning objectives.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, examinations, and projects, providing timely feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Use a variety of teaching tools and resources, including technology, to enhance learning experiences.
- Prepare students for Cambridge examinations, including IGCSE and A-Level assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings, professional development, and curriculum review sessions.
- Promote awareness of current business and economic issues relevant to the curriculum.
- Uphold the school's policies, values, and standards of conduct.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Teaching certification or license relevant to the teaching of Business and Economics.
- Proven experience teaching Business and Economics at secondary or higher secondary levels.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum and assessment standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
