We are now seeking a seasoned Head of Talent & Development to lead talent strategy, organizational culture, and people development across all subsidiaries and the group headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition
  • Design and oversee recruitment and workforce planning strategies for the Group.
  • Strengthen employer branding to attract top professionals.
  • Support business units in implementing effective, timely hiring processes.
  • Talent Development & Training
  • Establish and oversee training and leadership development programs.
  • Implement succession planning frameworks to secure future leadership pipelines.
  • Promote a culture of continuous professional growth.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including satisfaction surveys and feedback systems.
  • Champion a high-performance, values-driven culture across all business units.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance collaboration, inclusivity, and employee well-being.
  • Organizational Development & HR Strategy
  • Align talent and people strategies with the Group’s overall business objectives.
  • Provide strategic advice on organizational design and change management.
  • Standardize HR and people development practices across the Group.
  • Leadership & Shared Services
  • Provide HR leadership to subsidiary-level teams and senior management.
  • Manage shared services talent operations at the Group headquarters.
  • Report directly to executive leadership on talent, culture, and organizational development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • 7–10 years of progressive HR and talent management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a large, diversified company or consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and learning & development.
  • Proven experience supporting organizational transformation and modernizing people practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English and Amharic required.
