Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Nursing Care: Deliver direct care to clients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities as part of their recovery process.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct physical and mental health assessments to identify the needs of clients and collaborate with medical and psychological staff in developing care plans.
- Medication Management: Administer prescribed medications, monitor their effects, and ensure clients' adherence to medication schedules.
- Client Education: Provide clients and their families with education on mental health conditions, medication management, and self-care strategies to support long-term recovery.
- Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.
- Monitor and Report: Document patient progress, any changes in physical or mental health, and communicate relevant information to the care team.
- Crisis Management: Assist in managing psychiatric or medical crises, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in a high-pressure environment.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or a related field.
- License: Valid professional license to practice nursing in Ethiopia.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a mental health or substance use disorder setting.
- Advantage: Experience working in an NGO or community-based setting is an advantage.

Language Proficiency:
Fluency in Tigrigna, Amharic, and English. Knowledge of additional local languages is an advantage.
