Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior External Auditor located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with some work from home permissible. The Senior External Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits of financial statements, evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations, testing financial information, and preparing detailed reports on audit findings. The role also includes advising clients on potential improvements in financial and accounting practices.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Expertise in financial statement auditing and internal control evaluation
- Detailed knowledge of compliance standards and regulations
- Proven ability in preparing comprehensive audit reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in external auditing
