About the Role
On behalf of our client, We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities for our client's real estate and commercial building projects around Gerji Mebrat Hail, Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth site operations, maintain quality standards, and manage timelines while coordinating effectively with workers, subcontractors, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with project plans and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of work.
- Oversee material usage, site logistics, and daily labor activities.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control on construction progress.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly site reports to project management.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site.
- Act as the primary point of contact for site-related issues, resolving challenges efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 1–5 years proven experience as a Site Supervisor in real estate or commercial building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and construction management tools is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
