Join a startup chemical importer and logistics provider, headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with operations across Kenya and beyond. We’re seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Specialist with 2-5 years of experience in international procurement, shipping, or distribution to support our Ethiopia and Kenya operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage PO-to-delivery cycles across multiple countries, ensuring timely availability and avoiding bottlenecks.
- Handle cross-border logistics, including incoterms, free zone operations, customs clearance, and port coordination.
- Resolve shipment delays, customs issues, and stock-outs proactively.
- Maintain accurate inventory and order tracking using Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo).
- Coordinate with finance, sales, and warehousing teams to bridge operational gaps.
Requirements:
- Background in chemical supply chain or logistics.
- Experience with import/export companies or freight forwarders.
- Comfortable with free zone environments and cross-border trade.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and data management skills.
