Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Duty Station: Adama
Salary: Company’s Scale
Reports to: Deputy GM-HR and Property Administration
Term of Employment: Permanent after successful completion of Probation Period.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct stock counts, and implement strategies to optimize stock levels
- Lead, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff to foster a productive and safe work environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet performance targets. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Implement and enforce safety and security protocols, maintain health and safety records, and ensure compliance with regulations..
- Monitor performance metrics (KPIs), prepare reports on warehouse activities for management review, and manage budgets
- Carry out other duties as assigned by pertinent authority
Qualification
Required Educational Attainment: MA/MBA/BA
Education: Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or related field of studies
Experience: Minimum of 6 years relevant experience 2 years on Senior Position for Degree and 4 year relevant experience 1 year on Senior Position for Masters.
Skills:
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Clearly communicating with clients, team members, and senior management.
Sex: Female or Male
Language Skill: Advantageous if the candidate has a good English skill in addition to Ethiopian Local Languages.
