Role Summary
We’re seeking a Mid-Senior level Electrical Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technical execution and strategic growth. This role will be central in:
- Driving bid preparation
- Managing grant applications
- Creating client-facing documentation
- Coordinating technical support
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and prepare technical proposals and bid documents for private and public sector tenders.
- Assist in grant research and technical write-ups, especially in solar and energy efficiency domains.
- Coordinate project designs, technical specifications, and BOQ preparation with the team.
- Maintain and organize technical documentation, client profiles, and past performance records.
- Support sales and leadership team with technical presentations, drawings, and submittals.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies for compliant project documentation.
- Track deadlines, submission requirements, and feedback loops across tender/grant processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
- 3 years and above relevant experience in technical project support, bid engineering, or proposal writing
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, electromechanical designs, and local codes
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; AutoCAD, PVsyst, or related tools is a plus
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation and proposals
- Organized, deadline-driven, with attention to detail and teamwork mindset
- Strong spoken and written Amharic & English required
