We are seeking a highly experienced Marketing & Social Media Manager / Content Creator to lead and execute our brand growth strategy, content production, and engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Strategy
- Develop and lead comprehensive marketing campaigns to increase visibility and drive course enrollment.
- Manage paid ad campaigns across Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google, and YouTube.
- Analyze campaign data and adjust strategies for optimal ROI.
Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and manage content across all major platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Build an active and engaging online community of students, educators, and parents.
- Use social insights and trends to refine strategies.
Content Creation & Video Editing
- Produce, edit, and publish videos, reels, and graphics aligned with the Ethiopian curriculum.
- Create promotional and testimonial videos, animations, and educational content.
- Collaborate with educators, designers, and voiceover artists.
Affiliate & Influencer Marketing
- Launch and grow a network of affiliate partners including teachers and micro-influencers.
- Design incentive programs and track affiliate performance.
- Coordinate influencer campaigns to increase brand awareness.
Communications & Branding
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across all materials and channels.
- Write clear, engaging copy for posts, newsletters, press releases, and ads.
- Align all campaigns with our mission of educational access and impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
- 3–7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, content creation, or social media management.
- Proven skills in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills in Amharic and English (both written and verbal).
- Knowledge of the Ethiopian market, especially the education and digital space.
- Strong understanding of affiliate or influencer marketing strategies.
Nice to Have
- Experience in EdTech or education-related startups.
- SEO, email marketing, blog writing, and YouTube monetization experience.
- Familiarity with tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, HubSpot, or Notion.
