Job Overview
As the PR Assistant at 251 Communications, you will play a crucial role in supporting the PR Manager with various administrative tasks, participating in brainstorming and planning sessions, assisting in organizing and executing events and campaigns, and working on any PR related deliverables for clients as per your capabilities. This position requires excellent organizational skills, creativity, and a proactive approach to managing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Keep calendars (editorial, press conferences, events, etc.) and maintain media lists.
- Undertake general administrative and clerical duties.
- Assist in tracking media coverage or PR metrics (e.g., web analytics).
- Event and Campaign Support:
- Schedule, coordinate, and attend various events.
- Assist in organizing and executing events, campaigns, and other administrative duties.
- Support relations with stakeholders, media, vendors, etc.
- Content Creation and Distribution:
- Draft and distribute content such as newsletters and releases.
- Invent ways to streamline communication and plan execution.
- Media and Database Management:
- Build and update media lists and databases.
- Conduct research to support PR planning.
- Brainstorming and Planning:
- Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions.
- Provide creative input and strategic insights for PR campaigns.
- Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends and market insights.
- Conduct competitive analysis studies on competitors of the company.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Business Development:
- One new proactive work per quarter (new client, new article for internal post, etc.)
- Client Relationship Management:
- Project Delivery: 90% of projects are delivered on time unless adjusted by the client.
- Client Satisfaction: Measure client satisfaction through regular feedback surveys, maintaining results at 80% and above.
- Operational Requirements:
- Daily updating of tasks with the PR team.
- 100% attendance and update of tasks during weekly status meetings.
- Daily sign-in and sign-out as stated in the company handbook.
Overall KPI:
- Maintain a 70% minimum overall weighted performance, to be reviewed monthly.
