Job Summary:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the daily accounting activities of our client's company. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Ability to lead and support a small finance team

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide training as needed.
• Handle reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Coordinate with auditors and external partners.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Ensure tax compliance and timely filing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a senior role.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
