Qualification & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies, Economics, or other related fields
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience
- At least three (3) years in a managerial position related to ESG activities
- Professional course in related fields (an added advantage)
Job Summary
The jobholder is responsible for overseeing all ESG-related activities in the Bank. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the formulation and execution of ESG policies, procedures, guidelines, and strategies
- Ensuring compliance with both national and international standards
- Aligning the Bank’s operations, investment decisions, and products/services with leading sustainability standards
- Driving positive societal and environmental impact
- Effectively managing related risks
- Enhancing the Bank’s reputation and stakeholder trust
- Integrating ESG principles into operations, strategies, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and partnership activities
