Qualification & Experience
- BSc Degree in Information Technology and related fields plus a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in Database management and banking areas.
- Master’s in IT related field (an added advantage)
- Certified on Oracle 19c Certified Professional – OCP (Mandatory)
- Certified on IBM Db2 Administration for Database Professionals v11.5 (an added advantage)
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for:
- Designing, capacity, efficiency, security, scalability, and availability of the overall database systems within the Bank.
- Participating in the effort to build, implement, and support the data infrastructure.
- Adapting quickly to changes in requirements and being willing to work with different technologies if required.
- Playing a critical role in the development, adherence, and enforcement of security standards and policies.
- Designing logical and physical databases or reviewing descriptions of changes to database design to understand how changes affect the physical database.
